ITC’26 accepts extended abstracts and full papers.
The main language of the conference is English, but extended abstracts and full papers in Portuguese and Spanish are also accepted.
Full papers and extended abstracts submitted will undergo a peer-review process.

Key dates
- Deadline for submission of extended abstracts: 10th July 2026
- Notification of acceptance to authors: 15th July 2026
- Registration: 31th July 2026
- After accepting the abstract, the deadline for submission of full papers is 10th September 2026
- Conference: 1st and 2nd October 2026
Submission Process
All the submissions must use the conference submission templates: Extended Abstract Template | Full Paper Template
Once the extended abstract has been accepted, authors may submit the full written paper (by 10 September 2026).
Publication
Accepted extended abstracts will be published in a book of abstracts, and full papers (for those authors who wish to do so) in a book of proceedings; both will have an ISBN.
Following their presentation at the conference, some papers may be considered for publication in the European Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Recreation (EJTHR).
